„Concert by the Sea“ by pianist Erroll Garner, was the first Jazz Album that sold more than one millions times back in 1956.
For the production of the film „Misty“ about Jazz pianist Erroll Garner, we went filming in Carmel by the Sea (CA), where Erroll Garner has recorded his most famous live album called „Concert by the Sea“ on September 19th, 1955. Like many Garner Fans, we where searching, for the specific spot where Art Kane took for the famous foto that is on the LP cover of that album.
