In 2003 Gachot felt in love with Brazilian music and turned his camera to this new world for him, the country of the Samba and Bossa Nova, where musicians opened generously their door to this passionate music filmmaker that grew up in another culture. A 16 years long adventure and the production of 2 Portrait of singers, about a Samba School and about Joao Gilberto, the father of the Bossa Nova.

Already in 1996, Gachot found in Cambodia another focus in a humanitarian work from a Swiss pediatrician and cellist Beat Richner that where building children hospitals. Gachot, like in other topic did follow this Cambodia story and realized five films about it.
